Remote Starting My Morning

Would you believe remote starting your vehicle could be so perfect? When I get up in the morning I don’t like to wait around. Waiting around in a cold vehicle is not fun either. Instead of sitting in my cold car waiting for it to warm up, I bought a remote starter.

A remote starter for my car involved some research. I drive a manual transmission vehicle. The trick about starting a manual car is putting the clutch to the floor. Some remote starters work on manual transmission vehicles because they have figured out a way to bypass the clutch. The next problem is making sure you don’t start the car while it’s in gear (that would possibly drive your car forward). You wouldn’t want to hit a concrete wall in a parking garage.

I bought the viper 7801. The picture of my two-way remote and key are attached. The features on this device are outstanding. I was lucky there was a wire included that detected If my gearbox was in nutreal. Otherwise you. Have to go through a lengthy process to make the car start the next time. For me, I just have to keep it out of gear.

My remote works from my office to my garage. So that means I can start my car, walk to my garage, and take off. By the time I arrive my car engine is warm and ready to be driven. I can also tell the temperature inside the cabin of the car from the remote. This feature would be handy if I were waiting for my car to get warm on the inside. I will probably only use this feature when there is a woman involved and its cold outside. I also have the ability to take the key out and have the car still run. The is a handy feature if I were to get an item at the store real fast, but I wanted to keep my engine running. This allows me to lock the doors while the car is running as well. There are many more features, but these are the ones I like the most.
