Last weekend I went to guitar center to kill some time. That’s when I discovered how fun a vocoder can be. I remember playing with a vocoder plug in on Fruity Loops, but I never made it work in real time. With a wonderful donation from a friend, I now have a Yamaha PSR-262 midi device. Over the weekend I also managed to pick up a MIDI 5 pin to 15 pin cord. With the help of the internet, I was up in just a few hours. I found out my joystick / midi controller was disabled in the BIOS. Make sure to check that. The first video below are my results, the second video you see is the youtube video that helped me get things rolling.
